The mission and blog begin...
A blog is like an online journal. The word is short for "weblog". Using this site, we can post the latest news from Elder and Sister Patten, along with photos they send us. You can view old entries (called "posts") with the "Blog Archive" menu at right. You can also click on the photo slideshow at right to see the whole album of photos and view them larger. Enjoy!

Steve, I really like this idea. This is the first time that I have used a blog so any hints on what or how would be great. I happened to log on to my computer yesterday and saw that Dad and Lois were on Skype so we were able to talk to them for a few minutes. They had just spoken with Steve and Dana. For those of you that didn't know, my Dad's Mother passed away last week and her funeral was on Monday. I'm sure he would have liked to have been there but I know he is where the Lord wants him. The Pattens seem to really love the islands and I can tell that the younger missionaries just love them. I'll check back often. Jeff
