This is Gordon and Katy. Elder Beecher introduced them to us before he went home and after he left we continued to teach them. After eight years and two children they decided to get married. We thought we would get them baptized before we left but when we went to get on the airplane to leave Majuro there was Katy getting on the same plane on her way to North Carolina to work in a convelescent hospital. They hadn't told us. They were sweet, good people and we hope that someday they have another opportunity to find the gospel. The missionaries are still teaching Gordon and they plan to reunite as soon as she can send for him and the children.
We made them a four layer wedding cake but when we started to put the icing on it started to fall apart. We went to the store and bought one and when we got home this is how our wedding cake looked.
